Dubstep II

Yesterday I promised some more interesting dubstep. For me this is the most exciting side of the genre at the moment, there have been tons of great releases in the last year or so from labels such as Warp, Hessle Audio and Planet Mu which have really been pushing the boundaries of dubstep.

First up is James Blake, a man who seems to be able to do no wrong on evidence of his releases so far. Signed up on Hessle Audio here are a few of my favourite tracks.

Tracks after the jump

James Blake - I Never Learnt to Share

On to Ramadanman

Bleepy dubstep from Warp with Rustie and Hudson Mohawke

And a couple of records from Planet Mu

First a massive tune from Ikonika

And personal favourite Slugabed

A brief summary of some of the more experimental dubstep around, expect plenty more in the future
