Happy Effing christmas

Well it's Christmas again and my little brother woke me up so early that I was emotional enough to cry at fucking Muppet Christmas Carol so laugh all you want.. I haven't posted for ages accepted apologies as a present with plenty more to follow but for now here are some Beatles remixes packed with cheer, if not the Christmas variety  ,something that's widening my Christmas smile.

Raj Mahal is originally from Detroit but says that now he moves from place to place. His is soulful and at times very bass heavy brand of hip-hop or as quoted on his soundcloud "APOCALYPTIC SOUL MUSIC!". As always here are a few of my favourite.

I've been overdosing on the hip-hop and electronic based music in general recently so I've been relaxing with some nice folk and a tea (or three) tonight. I've got a divshare account so I can post tracks without them being big clunky Youtube videos and can give you guys a download. It requires a bit more time and effort per track but seeing as the writing on this blog is lacking in both of those things I'm sure I can manage it. Nick Bertke AKA Pogo is a electronic music producer from Austalia, most, if not all his work consists of samples from one film or scene of a film including a quite a few disney and pixar based tracks. His amazing track 'Alice' got a shit load of attention so you may know it. Here are a couple of other really nice tracks, one using Snow White clips and the other using bits from Up which is a personal favourite film of mine and the track is almost as good. More hip-hop this time from NegroSaki from Florida who really loves his samples. I just stumbled across his soundcloud today, I'm loving his tracks and this picture by him which you can find on his deviantart. He also has a track entirely of Super Smash Bros Brawl sound clips along with Tekken and Final Fantasy remix albums which is pretty damn cool.
